CUSTOM  PRODUCTION   QUEUE  and   RELATED POLICIES:  this  is  not  like  a  retail  store.

The following cue is designed to give you (the wait-list customer who then becomes a production-time customer) a reasonable accurate sense of where your slot/orders exists.    To account for customer privacy, we assign you an automatically generated code number followed by the estimated time of arrival (ETA) of your item(s).    We try to update this list each week. 

Its really very simple, although some folks who have never ordered a custom made item, may not be accustomed to such an approach.

WAIT  LIST   PERIOD:

Customer Wait Period:   Because we work on a first come, first serve basis for custom work,  a customer on the  wait-list is someone who has expressed a serious committment to a  project.   We  do not require a deposit to get on the wait list, however if the item is $1000 dollars or less (and no previous agreements were made) we generally ask that you be ready to committ to full payment when the item is ready to ship.  Obviously we will give you plenty of notice that your production time is nearing.  If you cannot committ to the project at the projected time, we must regretably remove you from the queue and/or place you at the bottom (if you still want to committ later) to be fair to others who have waited patiently.  Thus the next customer is bumped up. 

Production Time Period simply means the time frame a project is expected to take on "the workbench."   You automatically transition from the 'wait period' when we are ready to begin work on your project.  Productin Time can range significantly depending on the project.    We will tell you approximately how long we believe (estimate) something will take.  For orders $1000 dollars or less,  we will ship your item(s) once we recieve payment.  For orders over $1000 dollars, we would thus expect your first payment before shipping.
