How  To  Place  An  Order  and  Related   Information

As you may now realize, this is not mass-produced retail.   If you have never ordered from a custom studio or 'armory',  some of these policies may still seem strange to you though we assure you, they are designed to be as fair to you, the customer,  as they are to us, the artisans.    Nevertheless, our policies are similar to  many custom work shops and 'armouries.'     Why do we have a wait-list for custom pieces?   Well, the simplest answer is because made per commission work takes longer (as with most things made by hand) and we do not mass produce anything --yet, we continue to receive a higher proportion of orders -bespeaking the quality and accuracy of our work.    Do we keep anything in stock for faster turn around and shipment?   Yes,  small items or those which are quickly made like fiberglass or plastic  pieces.   Therefore, in those cases, those items usually go out in 2-3 weeks.   

WAIT PERIOD:   A FIRST  COME,  FIRST SERVE  BASIS;   WE   ARE  HAPPY  TO  ANNOUNCE  THAT  WE   NO  LONGER  REQUIRE  A  DEPOSIT  TO  GET  ON  THE  WAITLIST  HOWEVER PLEASE  INQUIRE FIRST  AS TO OUR CURRENT DELIVERY PERIOD AND APPROXIMATE TIME YOUR ORDER WOULD BE DELIVERED.  

PAYMENT:    IN  MOST CASES,  YOUR  PAYMENT   IS  NOT  DEPOSITED  UNTIL  YOUR  ORDER  IS READY TO SHIP.    WE  PREFER  PERSONAL CHECKS OR MONEY ORDERS, ALTHOUGH  WE   WILL  OCCASSIONALLY ACCEPT  PAYPAL,  CREDIT CARDS.    IN  SOME  CIRCUMSTANCES  FOR  ORDERS OVER  800 DOLLARS (OR FOR  LOWER BUDGET  CUSTOMERS)   WE  CAN CREATE  NO INTEREST PAYMENT PLANS,   PLEASE INQUIRE.

FOR ORDERS OVER  $1000,  WE REQUIRE A  DEPOSIT TO BE FIRMLY PLACED ON OUR PROJECT LIST----DO NOT SEND FULL PAYMENT.   WE WILL THEN GIVE YOU AN  ESTIMATED  DELIVERY TIME FRAME BASED ON  OUR  CURRENT SITUATION.   WHEN  WE ARE READY TO BEGIN WORK  WE WILL NOTIFY YOU AND REQUEST A 30%  PAYMENT  TO ACCOUNT FOR MATERIAL PURCHASES.   UPON COMPLETION,  WE WILL REQUEST THE FINAL BALANCE, INCLUDING SHIPPING COSTS.   IF YOU DECIDE YOU DO NOT WISH TO PURCHASE THE FINISHED  ITEM,  YOU ARE NOT COMMITTED TO SEND THE  BALANCE AND WE WILL REFUND YOUR DEPOSIT. 
FOR  ORDERS  UNDER  $ 1000    WE  USUALLY  REQUIRE *  FULL PAYMENT UP FRONT FOR THE ORDER TO BE PROCESSED.     PRIOR  TO  SENDING  PAYMENT, WE  WILL  GIVE YOU AN  ESTIMATED  DELIVERY TIME FRAME  BASED ON OUR CURRENT STATUS  (REMEMBER,  THIS IS  FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE SO OUR  DELIVERY TIME  FRAME  TO YOU  CAN  CHANGE  OVERNIGHT  IF  WE  RECIEVE  MANY  ORDERS).   SHIPPING  COSTS ARE AVERAGED, AND INCLUDED IN  YOUR TOTAL.    A  RECEIPT CAN BE PROVIDED UPON REQUEST IF NECESSARY.
